Kevin Paul is a well-respected Artist, Producer, and Songwriter who hails from the legendary city of Chicago, birthplace of house and gospel music, urban blues, and modern jazz. His compositions' diverse styles reflect the melting pot he was born into and still lives and thrives in today. From the artist: I was born and raised in Chicago and left home as a teenager to pursue my passion for music. The Chitlin’ Circuit in the 70’s was a virtual training ground where I developed a knack for playing within the polyrhythms that formed the basis of many grooves in the era's popular Funk music. Throughout my career, I've worked with many incredible artists, both in the States and across Europe, through my affiliation with the Provogue Label and its artist roster. In 1999, I formed StikMen, who were eventually selected as one of the top 20 Indie Artists in the US in 2000.  Today, I perform regularly with the dynamic show band Generation, playing at premier venues and festivals around the Midwest, with Addicted To Love, the premier Robert Palmer tribute in North America, with the Windy City Rev Ups, and others. I also create and produce instrumental tracks for use in television, film, and retail applications.
