TOF turns constraint into force. A singer-songwriter from Lyon, now based between Paris and La Baule, he builds rock songs with a pop sensibility from a bedroom home studio of less than one square metre. After more than ten years away from making music, he bought a recorder from a musician at the end of January 2021 and began working at night, after his job, while his family slept. His process is fully self-contained: music, guitar, bass, drums, lyrics and mixing are all handled alone. That independence shapes a direct body of work inspired by life, with songs that move through social issues, community, culture and identity. Classical music sits in the background as an influence, adding depth to his instinctive approach without softening the rock foundation. TOF released his first album in 2020 during the COVID crisis. His upcoming album, Tronches de Vie Vie en tranches, is set for 2021-09-01 and continues his focus on "la vie"
