WIISE1

As 1/4 of High Chief - WIISE1, Alongside Director D is one of the Producers/ MC's of the Rhode Island Hip-Hop collective formed in 2009 with Director D's brother (Nicky SLick) & childhood friend (Crooked Crow). They started producing, writing and recording music in a residential extended stay hotel room as a compassionate hobby, resulting in years of unique, creative sound across digital platforms and distribution of hard copies through out New England and the Tri-State Area. Each member showcasing their own original style as solo artists (as well as a collective)- Creating a catalog worth listening to that they continue building year by year. In 2020, High Chief reunited- Releasing their independent debut 2020-UNTOUCHABLES. WIISE1's solo debut (INTOXICATED TAPES) was in the works at the same time. Produced and engineered by Director D and (WIISE1) himself, it was completed and released in 2021. After 5 years of anticipation- LAST CALL/FERMENTATION (co-produced by Director D & Kozzwon) Dropped in June 2025 with appearances by High Chief, Mumbls, Kozz, J.EI, Prez & Young Dirty Bastard of Wu-Tang Clan. INTOXICATED LOST TAPES: UNCUT PRQL (Co-Starring WIISE1's Brother- J.EI) surfaced a month later as a compilation mixtape of previously recorded unreleased tracks featuring notable underground artists (Solomon Childs of Wu-Tang Clan, Mumbls, Skribbal) and close affiliates from Coast to Coast.TEMPO: ASTRALMENTALS OUT NOW!
