Afternoon Sister🇺🇸

Boise-area indie rock band Afternoon Sister will release its debut five-song EP, Reset E.P., on November 1, 2026 through North Corona Records. Fronted by 14-year-old singer and songwriter Alice Ventura, Afternoon Sister blends indie rock and dream pop with heavy guitars and a more laid-back, melodic sound. The band pulls from a wide range of influences, including Neil Young, Chromatics, Mazzy Star and Air. Reset E.P. features five original songs written by Alice Esquibel and Afternoon Sister. The EP moves between heavier guitar-driven moments and quieter, atmospheric songs, with each track having its own feel while still sounding like part of the same record. The EP was recorded at Cumulus and M51 and was engineered, produced, mixed and mastered by Ray Hedgpeth at M51.
