Greg Bito (Lost Emotions) is a Miami-based lyricist and songwriter originally from Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Many of those early writings were first published in his 2009 book, "Lost Emotions". After retiring from a career as a technical trainer for several major software companies, Greg Bito returned to his lifelong passion for storytelling through song. He is not a traditional musician or singer, and is direct about the process behind his recordings. The lyrics, concepts, and creative direction are entirely his own, while modern AI tools are used strictly for vocal performance and instrumentation. This approach allows him to concentrate on the elements of songwriting that matter most to him: lyrical arrangement, storytelling, and emotional weight. His music style moves freely through country, blues, R&B, indie, trip-hop, and experimental fusions, with each style chosen to serve the message of the lyric rather than define him by a single genre. One of his current albums, "Lost Emotions: Porch Light Stories Edition" (released August 14, 2026), leans into a country-western and blues fusion while remaining firmly rooted in personal narrative. Built from true stories of young adulthood at the Jersey Shore, the ballad-length songs are intended for close listening, with particular attention to the words and the memories behind them.
