I spent 30 years in drywall and painting trades right here in Rutherford County before I walked away from it all in 2024 to build a music career from nothing but my phone. No label, no studio — just Ellenboro grit and a sound nobody else was chasing: bluegrass trap, banjo and 808s running side by side. I'm 55, and I'm the originator of this sound, built on real western NC geography — Darlington Road, Boss Moore Road, Lake Lure, Highway 221 — that's not some aesthetic to me, that's home. My flagship album, Dirt Rich, is a locked 10-track project pulled straight from real hardship and rebuilding — autobiography turned into bars. Since then I've branched into Trapgrass Metal and an experimental lane I call Trancegrass Metal, all self-produced and self-distributed on Suno, SoundCloud, YouTube, and TikTok. I call myself a creator, not a musician. Self-built in every sense — running on radical authenticity, fierce loyalty, and an unshakeable belief in karma
